Exposing the UAP Drone Agenda: Are We Witnessing a PSYOP?
By Anthony F. Sanchez, Author & UFO Researcher
For UFO Currents
Since 2021, the public has been inundated with a steady stream of UAP-related stories, shaping perceptions across diverse demographics. By 2025, this narrative has firmly embedded itself into mainstream discourse.
As early as 2017, reports of mysterious drone phenomena began surfacing over highly secured areas, including U.S. Air Force installations and weapons sites.
What’s more, the younger generation, previously indifferent to UFO topics that traditionally appealed to the older MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) demographic, is now deeply engaged. This growing fascination stems from an onslaught of UAP-related content across every media platform—podcasts, short videos, movies, news outlets, and blogs—creating a cultural phenomenon.
Adding to this is the increasing integration of religion into UAP discourse, a trend that raises important questions about its motives.
What Does It All Mean?
We must first examine the paradigm shift: from the stigmatized ridicule of the past to the widespread acceptance and acclaim of today.
Figures like Tom DeLonge, leveraging his celebrity through Blink-182 and To The Stars Academy (TTSA), have played a pivotal role in commercializing UAPs and Non-Human Intelligence (NHI), turning them into a mainstream narrative. Meanwhile, limited disclosures by the Department of Defense and Pentagon, presented by so-called "whistleblowers," have heightened intrigue.
However, these whistleblowers’ close ties to defense agencies and aerospace firms raise serious concerns. Many remain bound by non-disclosure agreements, their revelations carefully curated. This prompts us to question whether their testimonies truly serve transparency—or hidden agendas.
"I still maintain a security clearance." —Luis Elizondo, Former Director, Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification ProgramAs a UFO researcher and author, I have extensively analyzed the 2023 and 2024 U.S. Congressional hearings on UAPs. Having personally witnessed UAPs and experienced NHI engagement, this subject profoundly resonates with me. My journey into ufology began as a seeker of truth, but recent developments have left me deeply unsettled.
A Calculated Narrative
The traditional UFO community, perhaps unknowingly, appears complicit in perpetuating a narrative that aligns with defense and private sector interests. Beneath the guise of concern for national security lies a calculated effort to secure astronomical funding for military and aerospace projects. The once-shadowy "black budget" programs for reverse-engineering alien technology may now be openly reframed through this new UAP narrative.
The relentless barrage of UAP content—news outlets, social media reels, and viral videos of "drones" over New Jersey, Arizona, and military installations—has desensitized the public while stoking fears of potential "invasions." This orchestrated flood of information targets a generation conditioned by decades of alien-themed media, with one clear message: national security is at stake.
Is it not glaringly obvious that true UAPs or UFOs are exceedingly rare, and much of this spectacle involves drones and devices made with human technology? This modern pageantry demands scrutiny. Are we being played?
"It’s totally nuts that humanity as a whole—especially U.S. citizens—aren’t even benefiting from broad research on this to solve propulsion, energy issues, or novel material science. It’s just totally nuts how it’s been protected and inhibits progress." —David Grusch, Former Senior Intelligence OfficerIf this is truly a psychological operation, the deception runs deep. Carefully constructed narratives undermine the transparency we seek in uncovering the truth. Events like the Sol Symposium, revelations about AAWSAP, AATIP, and the still-unclear motives of the so-called "UAP rock stars" demand critical examination.
Hidden Ties and Hidden Agendas
Which of these prominent figures have financial ties to defense or aerospace industries? Who serves as consultants or sits on executive boards? Who still maintains relationships with highly commercialized agencies disseminating UAP and NHI narratives across youth-driven platforms?
The close ties between defense agencies, the Department of Defense, the Pentagon, and aerospace firms with these whistleblowers—many of whom remain under restrictive non-disclosure agreements—cast significant doubt on the authenticity of the modern UAP narrative being presented to us.
Yes, it seems our daily worldview is now oversaturated with UAP discourse. Thus, we must ask: Is this truly an effort to inform the public, or is it a meticulously crafted strategy to manipulate us for hidden agendas?
A Carefully Polished Façade
After a lifetime of speculation, intimidation, and relentless ridicule for my beliefs and lived experiences, I am deeply troubled by what appears to be an emerging, once-clandestine group exploiting the fears and concerns of the ufological community.
This group seems to be promoting a carefully crafted narrative—a façade of genuine concern—that conceals a hidden agenda. Beneath this polished exterior lies what I believe to be a calculated effort to empower defense and aerospace agencies, along with private sector firms, to openly lobby for vast and unimaginable funding.
If the public is enthralled, amazed, or cajoled, this funding can be openly justified. There’s no longer a need to hide the flow of dollars into highly classified, secretive programs.
