Can an Underground Facility Be Five Miles Down?

At five miles deep, you're dealing with temperatures between 250°F and 500°F (120–260°C). No industrial-grade cooling system could keep humans alive down there — let alone support electronics or computing systems. Yet, when I appeared on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory back in 2011, I was told point-blank: The Greys have facilities that deep.

Let that sink in.

Because here's the thing — at those depths, you're also dealing with 7,000+ PSI of pressure. That's submarine-level crushing force. The Kola Superdeep Borehole in Russia — the deepest hole ever drilled — took two decades to reach 7.6 miles, and it was not a livable tunnel. It was a narrow borehole. They had to stop because the rock started acting like plastic from the extreme heat.

And Cheyenne Mountain NORAD? That base is only about 2,000 feet deep, and it was still considered a monumental engineering challenge. So if the Greys are really living five miles underground... they're not like us. Their biology must be radically different. Humans simply can't survive those conditions.

Underground Rumors: How Deep Do They Really Go?

We've all heard the names — Dulce Base, Denver Airport, Area 51's hidden levels. The information says these places go miles beneath the surface. Near the top? That's where the humans operate. But far below, in the great depths? That's where everyone else is.

So let me be clear: Do I believe these bases exist? 100% yes.

Do I believe they go five miles down? Not for humans. Not possible.

But for non-human intelligences — the Greys, Reptilians, and others with radically different physiologies? Maybe. Probably. Hell, they've probably already mapped it out and moved in.

Secret Bunkers for the Elite

But what about the non-military sites — the ones that aren't D.U.M.B.s at all? I'm talking about massive new bunkers quietly appearing in places like New Zealand, Hawaii, and deep across the U.S. heartland. Many are built atop decommissioned missile silos, now retrofitted and reinforced, not for war — but for the wealthy. These aren't survival shelters… they're luxury lifeboats. And their owners? The elites who know something the rest of us don't.

So no, this isn't sci-fi anymore — it's bleeding into the real world. Billionaires like Zuckerberg reportedly have luxury bunkers. China has 3,500+ meters of underground military and elite-use tunnels stretching from Chengdu to the coast. We're not talking survivalist sheds — we're talking deep, reinforced megastructures.

Recently, Catherine Austin Fitts, a former Bush administration official, made serious claims about a network of secret U.S. underground bunkers — supposedly built with $21 trillion in unauthorized funds.

According to Fitts, who served as Assistant Secretary of HUD under George H.W. Bush:

• Around 170 bunkers have been built since 1998.
• Some are even beneath the ocean.
• A secret transportation system connects them.
• They're powered by undisclosed energy tech — possibly related to the same tech behind “fast ships” (i.e., UFOs).
• These facilities are used not just for safety, but for covert operations, including a secret space program.

And yes — she believes it ties back to missing government money, classified energy breakthroughs, and potentially mind-control tech.

Now, whether you agree with her full thesis or not, the breadcrumbs align with a much larger pattern. And let’s be clear — this isn’t just theory; it’s rooted in real audits and government data.

But that’s humans we’re talking about. Not you and me specifically — but our über-wealthy Homo sapiens brethren. And that’s where it gets interesting... because what if we’re not the only ones with a vested interest in going underground?

Let me bring this back to non-human intelligences.

So, Could a Facility Be 5 Miles Down?

In theory? Maybe — if you're an alien or have exotic tech.

In practice? Not for humans. Not with today's public engineering. The crushing heat, pressure, and cost make it nearly impossible — unless you're running on black-budget fuel, powered by science we haven't seen... yet.

But if we're talking Greys, interdimensional gateways, or a secret intergalactic HOA? Then all bets are off.

In the end, the question isn't just how deep we can go... it's who — or what — is already down there waiting.
